America Slipping into the Third World

by Bradley Voight on 05/26/12

I believe America is gradually sliding into the third world right before our eyes. Right now 50% of Americans have saved NOTHING, 0, NOTTA, ZIP for retirement. That means someone will have to take care of all of those people and it will probably be their "Rich Uncle" if you know what I mean. As we move deeper into debt as a nation, we continue to waste and live as if we will never be like India or China. I am here to tell all of you right now that within three more generations, we are going to experience conditions in this country very similar to what you read about in National Geographic. This is serious stuff. America already looks way different than it did when I was young and I'm only 42!

We have a generation of wanna be ballers and players of EVERY RACE that have NO idea of the value of a dollar bill. If it ain't bling bling then it's no good. It is a frightening future we face and very few people even care.

NO ONE is going to do what needs to be done for you.You have to take a proactive approach unless you love handouts! The problem is that there will be less and less people who actually do anything and more and more dead weight for those few to carry. What does this have to do with waste? Well one man's trash is another mans treasure!

Small Time Recycling's Mission Statement

Our primary mission is to reclaim valuable recyclables from the waste stream and bring attention to the wastefulness of America. Currently we are recycling metals and e-waste. The Smalltime Blog is a non political commentary on metal, stock, currency and other markets. The Smalltime Blog is also where the hard lessons of a self taught investor are discussed.
