Welcome

Hello, my name is Brad Voight. I am the president of E.O.S Enterprises Incorporated. Eos was actually the name of a pet rat my wife and I had early on in our marriage. My idea is simply a drop off site for recyclables and of course I realize this is not a new concept. What is new is that at this point in time nearly everything we use can be recycled. Curb side is great, the drop off sites are not so great for the dropper because they get nothing for their effort, so until curbside is mandatory, Small Time hopes to fill that void. But we are also very concerned about the litter situation in Indianapolis and also the homelessness uptrend. If I can create a place where people down on their luck could make a quick buck without being hassled or ridiculed, that is my vision.
I recently took some cans that I picked up off the streets of my neighborhood to Omnisource and they treated my like I stole them. It took almost an hour to sell them $65 worth of aluminum. I don't want Small Time to be like that. I want a system that recognizes human dignity and worth. I see a company that cares about the little guy, the very small guy who NEEDS the money. One way to accomplish this is to not accept commonly stolen materials at all. Another way is to innovate the drop off and payment process to make it fast and easy. At Small Time you become a member, receive your debit card, and then start selling your items to us. All you need is a photo ID and your Small Time debit card to start earning extra cash. Once you are a member we can fast track the process each time you visit.
I hope this was helpful and I hope to hear from the right person to help me bring this to reality. By the way, our current list of accepted materials is NOT set in stone as are many other details. I have an account on scrapmonster.com to locate buyers for our collected materials and also there are buyers here in town for glass and plastics, they are just waiting on me to come up with the bulk they require.
Thank you for your time,
Brad
